“Sandy, I may be a broken record at this point, but I wanted to write again to say thank you for presenting at SCL and giving me the idea to do Dialogues. It is hard to measure how much difference they have made in my College Algebra class! Tuesday was our best Dialogue yet - one of my groups blew me away with their engaging presentation, even throwing in a Venn diagram to compare and contrast vertical and horizontal asymptotes! I had to stop class after they finished and say THIS is what I'm looking for! It was outstanding. Several students have told me how much they think the Dialogues are helping them, but mostly from the perspective that it makes them go over the material more times so they obtain better mastery.”
